Brussels sprouts and bacon in a creamy parmesan sauce

Ingredients for 1 serving

bacon 70 g
Brussels sprouts 170 g
garlic 1¼ clove
heavy cream75 ml
cheddar cheese 60 ml (30 g)
grated parmesan cheese 15 ml
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2.
Fry the bacon (cut into small pieces) until crispy in a hot frying pan. When done, remove and place on a plate. Reserve the fat in the pan.

Step 3.
Fry the Brussels sprouts(cut in halves or quarters) in the same frying pan for a few minutes together with the garlic until it gets a nice color.

Step 4.
Add cream and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let simmer for a few minutes. Add bacon and combine well.

Step 5.
Pour everything in a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese and parmesan on top. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and has a nice golden color.
